Although i respect the decision taken by Martin Luther King Jr., and can see how he achieved so much for the black community during this time period, I am a bit more for the militant movement of Malcom X. King was preaching "non-violence" in search of equality, while Malcom demanded action. The cause of King's way of thinking is probably due to his involvement in the cristian church. Since he was a reverand, his ideals for equality involved no violence at all. But would the "decision makers" take him into high consideration if he wasn't aggressive??Malcom on the other hand preached BLACK POWER. He didn't ask for equality he demanded it. His social background is the influence of his militant movement, which is the cause for effective change.
